I hired Karl a few weeks ago to remodel part of my basement. His estimate was very reasonable. He carefully explained what he would do and was willing to work with me if I wanted to do part of the tear out. In the end, I decided to let him do it all. His work was efficient and very well done. He showed up on time every time. He even came on Sunday to tie up loose ends. He cleaned up his work and he and his workers were consistently pleasant and well-mannered. I am very satisfied with the project: quality, professionalism, and personal interaction. I would recommend Karl and will suggest his name to my church that is renovating a parsonage.

Karl was the first to contact me on my request for some masonry work done. He came for an estimate the same day and we agreed on a reasonable price. He finished the work a few days later, basically removing several pieces of bricks on the corner of house and replacing them. He did a fantastic job and restored it close to the original conditions. Responsible guy with timely service and quality work. Definitely recommend!

We had Karl come out to look at an awful bathroom re-tile and he was by far the BEST of all 6 people we had come out. Based on what he had to say, we had to put off the project for a while, but when we are ready to gut it, he absolutely will be the guy we call. I've already added him into my contacts. He definitely knows what he's doing and his pricing is more than fair. Thanks Karl! Look forward to working with you soon!

Had a small concrete job which which was handled quickly and efficiently. On initial content Karl was low key and informative. No high pressure sales. Leo, the masonry expert knows his field and was also informative. While a small operation, they have expertise in all sorts of contracting. I will contact them for future projects and highly recommend them.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I graduated from the Detroit Carpenters Apprenticeship and recieved my Journeyman's Certificate in 2009

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    I didn't want to go to college and couldn't imagine working a desk job so I went through trade school and began working with my hands.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

    Do some research on the work to be done and then ask a few questions to the contractor, see if he knows what he is talking about. Look for examples of his work, the work can speak for itself. References are always good too.
