FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Clean Squad has a per job pricing system. We bid each job based upon how long we feel it will take us to complete the job and what would be required to complete the job. Being that clients all have individual needs, a per hour pricing system doesn't work for us. We want to complete a job, and that means that no matter how long it takes, we're going to leave the job FINISHED, regardless of how many "hours" the client was quoted for their job. Thumbtack is a general pricing forum and almost never a final price for a job, but more so a starting point to go up or down from.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Thumbtack is a starting point to working with a client. Once the client expresses the need, we quote a general price, as often services are selected through Thumbtack that are included, to an extent, in our regular cleans. We use their selections to give a general quote and then setup a walk through time with the client to give a final determination of price.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We recently completed a basement deep clean for a client who was not able to do so on her own. She also had some items needing to be donated that we dropped off for her to Salvation Army. Although clean outs are not something that we do regularly, it was something that was rewarding to see the client feeling refreshed that she could have the use of her space returned to her, when otherwise she might not have had the capability to do so.
