What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is often determined by the needs of the customer. My day rate is $1250 with half day rate at $700. Real Estate Photography starts at $200 Headshots start at $150 for me to bring my mobile studio to the location of your choosing. Senior Pics start at $300 for a 90 min session Event Photography starts at $500 for 4 hours of coverage.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For all new customers I like to talk with them on the phone or in person to get a better understanding of the scope of their project. From their we create a statement of work which will get signed off on by the customer. Next we issue an invoice based on the SOW from which 50% is due to secure the dates.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have been doing Videography since High School.
