Ameya’s Guitar Lessons

Hello! My name is Ameya Kalamdani and I am a professional guitarist, teacher, and Berklee College of Music graduates living in Ypsilanti, MI though I often travel to perform in destinations such as New York, Las Vegas, Los Angeles and many others. I have performed with many artists including Lisa Lisa, Syleena Johnson, and Ali Caldwell. I have also recorded on many records and even on the intro of NeYo’s Step Up series. I offer lessons both in person and online via the medium the student prefers. In my lessons I like to focus on guitar technique, music theory, ear training, improvisation, reading music, song structure/form, and expanding repertoire. I encourage students at any level to bring in songs, solos, riffs, or all of the above to learn and develop a love and understanding of the guitar. I love to watch students grow into great musicians and develop a love for music.
