Hi - I’m Caitlin! An Anoka, Minnesota (Twin Cities) based makeup artist, and mother to a beautiful little girl. I am a graduate of the Minnesota School of Cosmetology and bring nearly nine years of experience in the beauty industry. I specialize in bridal, photoshoot, and special occasion makeup artistry. My beauty career began by accident after being placed in a fashion and cosmetology course that at the time, I had no interest in. This disinterest was due to a struggle to find products that worked for me. Reluctantly I stayed in the course and after just three days I was in love with the beauty industry. Learning the core basics of beauty such as skin tones, types and conditions created a greater understanding and kick-started my passion for makeup. In 2013 I began working at a beauty retailer selling products and providing makeup services. Often I would be asked to provide makeup for special occasions. So, I decided to open up my own business! It’s then that Makeup by Caitlin was born. My style can be described as timeless, clean, and feminine. The goal always being to enhance your already beautiful features while giving the gift of feeling glamorous. To make you feel your most confident self. One of the most important things to me is creating a calm and fun atmosphere. It’s an absolute honor to work with my clients on some of the most special days of their lives, and I look forward to working with you!
