Sometimes you don't need a therapist, you need a friend. Maybe your parent, grandparent, uncle or aunt needs one. One good one is all it takes. Like a life coach, therapist, beer-bellied personal trainer, chess opponent, bingo friend—but more affordable, accessible, versatile, and quite possibly more effective. And if you want, I'll teach you how to be a good friend and how to make them without me. I won't judge or shame you. I won't project onto you, and will ask when in doubt. I used to be a very socially-inept computer and gaming nerd, and have grown tremendously without losing any love for my past self or interests. To the best of my ability, I'll listen and find genuine interest in what you have to share, and empathize with you where and when I can. I'm really good at being grounded and grateful, and making new friends and keeping them—no matter how far away we are or how often we communicate—without rushing, faking, and/or fear of fallout or misperception. I speak fluent English and Thai (ภาษาไทย), can converse well in Chinese (中文), and have somewhat poor but almost-functional Spanish (Español). You or someone you know could use a friend.
