Hello! I’m a seasoned DJ and karaoke host from the Twin Cities metro area with nearly 40 years of experience overall.
I started as a mobile wedding DJ, learning from established pros before taking the lead on events. From there, I spent years as an in-house DJ for sports bars and restaurants across the Twin Cities, keeping crowds engaged and dance floors full.
In time, I launched my own small business, Book Of Matthew Entertainment, and have been providing high-quality karaoke entertainment to bars, restaurants, and private events ever since. I also continue to offer personalized wedding DJ services for couples.

Matthew DJed our wedding and did a fantastic job! Not only were his playlists spot on, but he’s a great MC, keeping the guests engaged and entertained. He also has a fantastic singing voice. We had him sing a couple songs at our wedding.

I’ve had the privilege of going to Mathew‘s karaoke venues and it’s always an absolute blast. He has a tremendous range of music and a high-quality system. So good that we ended up using him as our DJ for our wedding and he knocked it out of the park! Not only nailing the time sequences for all the music, but also gave us a great show by singing a few songs himself. Very talented all the way around. I suggest everyone considering him for not only their weddings, but private parties as well as Karaoke… worth it!

Matthew runs a good show and keeps a fair rotation. His equipment is quality and he knows how to run the sound.. He has a large catalog of song choices and also uses an app called Soundbooks which is user friendly. He engages the audience to keep it fun. He also has an amazing voice and if not busy he will sing.
