FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All dispatch fees are $125 for normal business hours. This covers my commute and 1 hour of diagnosing (diagnostics typically take about a half hour, but every house is different and some systems are very complex and can take some time to diagnose so I add an additional half hour). For after-hours, weekends and holidays we charge $175. Northland Air charges $125 for installation quotes, which I am more than willing to deduct from the overall quoted price if you decide to move forward with us. The price of labor per hour is $125 and can be divided in half hour increments. All preventative maintenance/cleanings/tune ups are $108 besides boiler/hydronic systems- Northland Air charges $125 for boilers/hydronic systems. We offer a 10% veterans/existing military member discount on all services. Just present your VA card, CAC card, Veterans ID card or DD214 upon payment and we'll be more than happy to honor it!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process usually begins with a phone call. We first need to figure out if the customer is in our service area- we'll ask a few questions regarding physical and email addresses, dial-in our customer's issues, needs, and wants and decide an appointment date that would work best for the home owner/business and Northland Air. On the day of the appointment prior to us dispatching, we'll give a courtesy call and a ETA to the customer- this confirms the appointment is still on and gives the customer a better idea of when we will show up!
