FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rates are listed in my Introduction in which the packages and subscriptions break down to $45-$55 per hour with travel fees up to $25 per trip. I also offer small packages so EVERYONE can have access to a personal stylist; these include the Express Closet Audits as well as 30 minute Virtual Consults. Most of my Wardrobe Packages listed include a Closet Analysis and Final Consultation. I do not run on commission with any of my packages because I believe my clients should utilize as much as they can within their closets, which is why I include the Analysis. The Final Consults are utilized to go over the pieces you bought so we can maximize your outfit options and your overall closet as much as we can upon completion of your styling experience. Although I offer multiple packages that fits peoples needs, wants and budgets, I do offer payment plans.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to build relationships with my clients first just to make sure it's a good fit and that I have the package they are looking for. This is conducted via a short phone call. If it is a good fit, afterwards, I will send over a consultation form for them to fill out so I know a little more about them and where they would like to be. I do take into account their budget; I can go thrifting, shop at Marshalls or a TJ Maxx, or go to Express and Banana Republic all the way up to your department stores. Working with a personal stylist can be scary for some people, but I am super personable and there is no judgement. I can easily read and recognize when a client is nervous, is getting overwhelmed, etc. So if we need to split the sessions into several sessions, we certainly can! I
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I personally have been in the fashion industry for over 17 years. This includes all areas of retail such as merchandising, personal shopping, styling, sales, management, and more. I even have experience in fashion show production! I have worked in the editorial as well as ecommerce world, but found that I just really enjoy making people happy and feeling good about themselves. I do study fashion psychology as well as color psychology in my free time so you can expect to learn the 'why's' behind everything ;)
