Within a few minutes of my request on Thumbtack for help in fixing a couple of plumbing leaks, I received a couple of queries. Dave from Spitfire came within 45 minutes after our initial contact phone call, around 3 pm. and inspected the task/issues, proposed solutions and alternatives, then quoted his price. We agreed, and on his recommendation, I rushed to Home Depot and acquired a required faucet fixture promptly. Dave had a new garbage disposal in his stock and by 6 pm he completed the plumbing job. He was friendly, thorough and professional, while assuring us that we had no cause to worry. He then guaranteed his job for a year. Where do you get that type of service. No doubt he intended to sooth and satisfy us and that was a clincher. We are overjoyed to have chosen Spitfire and Dave. We recommend Spitfire to all and sundry.

Mike was initially hired to replace our water heater and out of all the options we had, his reviews + price sounded like the best option.
He came to set it up later that week and I asked him if he could also quote us for a sink replacement (from single basin to double basin sink that we had already bought + already bought faucet) while he was draining our old water heater. He quickly took a look and gave us an estimate that was very reasonable and he was able to install our water heater and replace our sink all within 3 hours!
Total cost would’ve been the same as a quote that I received from a different company for just the water heater replacement and so far everything is working great.
