Karie was amazing to work with from the beginning to the end!! She goes above and beyond! She listened to my needs and came up with beautiful designs in each room. She searched online, on marketplace and shopped at many stores. She hung the wall decor and mirrors perfectly! We even reused some decor in a different way. Karie will search as long as it takes to find what you are looking for. She was prompt, professional and had an eye for detail. I would definitely use her service again and recommend her to everyone. I feel very lucky to have worked with her.

Karie has been amazing to work with. My new home was just about empty when we started and it is so warm and lovely now. This is the first home I have had in a long time that I am proud to show off to people. Karie has gone above and beyond in finding just the right piece for the right place--no small feat considering that the few pieces I did start with were not easy to match! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My business model is slightly different from most designers as I charge a "flat fee" for a single room design or per space, not hourly as most designers do. This cost can certainly add up as the project length may go longer than expected.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I initially meet with the customer in their home/space and we discuss what is needed. I then will sketch and create a design for them that I believe will be functional and beautiful! Once the client has my design and space planning, they are welcome to shop for items on their own, but I would advise that they allow me to finish the project so that it reflects my total vision!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 30 plus years of design experience working in residential homes.
