FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe in transparent, upfront pricing with no hidden fees and no high-pressure sales tactics. Every estimate is fully itemized so you can see exactly what you're paying for. For reference, a standard asphalt roof replacement in the Twin Cities typically runs $12,000-$18,000 for architectural shingles. Cedar shake and metal roofing projects range from $25,000-$50,000+ depending on scope. Siding projects generally start around $15,000. We offer flexible financing options, from low-APR plans to deferred-payment programs. We also provide discounted rates for senior citizens and veterans — just let us know when we connect. If you have storm damage, insurance may cover part or all of the work. We help document damage with drone photos and meet with your adjuster directly. You always file the claim — we just make the process easier.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Here's how it works from start to finish: 1. You reach out and we schedule a free inspection — usually within a few days. 2. We fly a drone over your roof to capture detailed aerial photos of every angle and document the current condition. 3. You receive a written condition report with photos — you see exactly what we see before we discuss any pricing. 4. We put together a detailed, itemized estimate based on what your home actually needs. No generic bids. 5. Once approved, you get a dedicated project manager and access to our project portal for real-time updates, scheduling, and communication. 6. Our background-checked crews complete the work, and we do a final walkthrough with you to make sure everything meets your standards. Most roof replacements are completed in 1-3 days. We handle permits, material delivery, and full cleanup.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our team holds manufacturer certifications from CertainTeed (ShingleMaster), Malarkey (Emerald), Atlas (Pro+ Silver Select), LP SmartSide, and James Hardie. These aren't just badges — they require ongoing training and allow us to offer extended manufacturer warranties that most contractors can't. Beyond roofing-specific training, our owner Joe Dvorak has over 20 years of construction experience spanning custom homes, remodeling, and structural work. That broader building knowledge helps us spot issues other roofers miss — like ventilation problems, flashing failures, or water intrusion patterns that start at the roof but show up somewhere else entirely. We're also NRCA members and stay current on building code changes and best practices in the industry.
