FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I am on the midrange for what I do. While this can be considered a luxury service, I believe in making myself more accessible for folks of all pay scales.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a brief consultation to understand the client’s needs, dietary preferences, allergies, and the type of experience they want. From there, I create a customized menu and provide clear pricing and service details. Once the booking is confirmed with a deposit, I handle menu planning, grocery shopping, and preparation. On the day of service, I arrive with everything needed to cook and present the meal in their home. After the event, I leave the kitchen clean and follow up to ensure they were satisfied and to build long term relationships.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 20 years of experience in the restaurant and hospitality industry, including roles as a server, bartender, and manager. I am ServSafe certified for both Food Handler and Food Protection Manager, with strong training in food safety, sanitation, and kitchen organization. My background includes menu planning, inventory management, and preparing food for guests with dietary restrictions such as gluten free and allergy conscious meals. This experience allows me to provide professional, safe, and reliable in home chef services.
