Hello, I am Travis Voels photographer and owner of Boreal-Wealds Photography, public education teacher, and retired Army Officer, you can think of me as Handyman with a camera. I photograph everything; action sports, corporate events, special events, business portraits, family portraits, Sr. portraits, cityscapes, landscapes. I have a very sociable personality; having spent a quarter century teaching in public education, documenting youth athletes, raising three awesome children or at least I have been told they are awesome. I work mostly in the Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area, I do not work out of an established photo studio, but travel to a location of your choosing. I pride myself on bringing the studio experience to the client. I usually book sessions in the later afternoon but can accommodate most scheduling needs. The only time I try not to work on Sunday mornings, this is family time attending church. I am looking forward to meeting you and learning about your photographic project, vision, desire, there are a million reasons to meet, but you want great images and portraits. Let’s get together and venture together down this road call photography. I believe that photography is the start of heirloom conversations, even simple snap shoots bring the stories of our lives out. What heirlooms are you missing? My wife tells me that I missed more of my children’s activities while trying to photograph them than if I had just watched and let someone else worry about “getting the shot.”
