Introduction: I'm a 50-year old Cancer Survivor. I am a Master Personal Trainer and Sports Performance Enhancement Specialist with 20 years of professional experience including the following: * National Academy of Sports Medicine, CPT, PES * World Kettlebell Club- Master Trainer, Coach, and Chief Competition Judge I teach "genuine" kettlebell sport as it has been practiced in Russia since 1948 -- This is not the generic basic run of the mill "American Version" Kettlebell training you see in every health club. I am personally trained by the man responsible for introducing kettlebells into the U.S. in the 90s -- Head of the World Kettlebell Club, World Champion, World Record Holder, Honoured Master of Sport World Class Coach (Valery Fedorenko). I am well versed in Strength, Power, and Endurance utilizing a variety of unorthodox equipment such as an 800-pound tire, Medicine Balls from 30-pounds to 150-pounds, Heavy Clubs, Sand Bags from 60-pound to 120-pounds, over 60-Professional Competition Kettlebells including one of the heaviest Competition Kettlebells in North America 64kg/141-pounds, Bumper Plates, etc. I now run my business from home in Bartlett, IL training out of my garage which allows me to keep my rates well below the average for my years of experience. I train each client at their own level and pace --My training is NOT one size fits all. All prospective clients will go through an initial Health, Fitness, and Wellness screening which allows me to determine your starting level. I am a Nutritional/Supplement Counselor and a BodyGem Metabolic Test Provider. I am American Heart Association CPR/AED certified. I am licensed, accredited and insured. Training is $60. for an individual hour or $300. for (10) 1-hour sessions -which drops the rate to only $30. per 1-hour session for individuals who commit to a block of 10-sessions. I've know Nick for several years and have never been disappointed with his training sessions. his non traditional methods are a challenge but they produce results. We have done many things from Kettlebell training, obstacle courses, used indian clubs, and gymnast rings. Nick will mix it up and not bore you. He has a vast amount of knowledge and is willing to share what he knows to get the best out of anyone willing to dig deep inside themselves. Aside from my experience in the military Nick is the most intense person I have ever trained with. He is tough, does not sugar coat anything and will tell you if you're doing something wrong. If you're looking for someone to hold your hand and tell you what you want to hear then Nick is not the guy for you. If you're looking for someone to push you beyond your limits and tell it to you how it is then this is the guy. As long as you're mentally tough and not a quitter you will greatly benefit from the experience.

I have trained with Nick for several years now. He's methods are out of the box but you cannot argue with the results. He takes your fitness goals into consideration and designs appropriate workouts to achieve the desired results. Don't go into it expecting fluffy cushy - go into it planning to work hard.

American Kettlebell Club-Chicago's reply
The most irresponsible client I have had in 20-years professional experience. Showed up to his first session late, constantly distracted, did not like being corrected despite having no idea what he was doing (magazine expert) called off last minute on several sessions after the only one he attended, then called to ask for a refund because he could not get his act together..

FAQs

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Not committed? I'm not your guy if you're not committed. Have little or no time? No one is that busy. Its not a matter of finding time --its ammeter of "Making Time." Unsure regarding hiring a Professional? Hiring a knowledgeable veteran professional can save you time, from injuries, lacking results and frustration. Not ready to work hard? If you're not ready to work hard --I'm not your guy. If your answer is "Yes" to any of the questions above -I am NOT your man. However, if your answer is "NO" to all of the questions above -I will get you into the BEST shape of your LIFE ...Guaranteed! How can I guarantee this? ...I am a Cancer Survivor and I was my first client. I've been at Death's Door -but today I'm 46-years old with a Sport Science tested "Physical Body-Age" of 22-years old. The same knowledge I've accrued over the past 20-years that gave me my Life back is what I instill in every Client.
