When we provide price cost estimates, we always itemize the quote to help clients understand the overall cost.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Customers should always think about what their timeline is for their potential project. As a business, we are much more able to provide a better price for projects that will be taking place sooner. When we are asked to quote projects which could be a few months out, we are forced to increase the price to account for possible changes in our market (winter slowdown or summer busy season).
