I recently called this company to set up time to install new carpet for my house. I was in a rush to get the job done as I am selling my house and when I talked to the owner he initially gave me a date 3 days after. I requested if he could it earlier and after checking his schedule he promised to be there the next day. I sent him all the details and he confirmed he would show up with his crew at 8.30 am the following day. However he did not show up at 8.30 and sent a message that one of his guys were running late but should be there shortly. After few text messages back and forth at about 10.00 he sends a message that his guys are stuck in a previous job and were not able to complete it as planned. As a owner I would think he would be responsible for knowing the status of each job each night and be on time for the next job. This shows that the owner is not responsible, does not perform the services promised - not very professional. I went with him because he gave a good pricing...However he proved to be cheap with keeping his commitment. I am very disappointed. I cancelled all other contractors believing this guy would show up, now I have to pay more and wait longer. Advice - If you are in a hurry go with guys who are more expensive but keep up their promises. Small companies may be cheaper but may not keep up the word :(

Anthony repaired, restretched and reseamed our very old carpet in our rental property. He was punctual, professional and very personable. I appreciated how timely he was in taking care of my carpet issue. I've recommended him to others and would hire him again. Great guy, too!

I hired Dematteo Flooring to stretch and install carpet in basement that had recently flooded. Great communication, outstanding quality of work, on time and thoroughly professional. Highly recommend.

Anthony and his crew did an amazing job installing new carpet in my new townhouse. He was very responsive from the beginning to end. You can tell the good quality of work and honestly, it's so much cheaper than other local compaies' quotes that I received. I would recommend him to anyone that wants carpet done well, and for a good price. Great job!!!! :)

I was referred to Anthony by a vendor I do a lot of business with. I referred Anthony to a client in need of new carpet. Not only did he not complete the job for my clients, he has skipped town with their $2,100 deposit and left them hanging. No phone call, follow up, explanation of his behavior. Nada.
Save your time, money and the hassle of dealing with a sub par company like DeMatteo Flooring.
