- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge my clients by the square footage (sq. ft.) of the space I am working on; with every project they will get a certain number of design hours. Depending on the type of design, will vary the price per square footage I charge. Home Staging- $0.75/sq. ft. Using existing/new furniture within a specific budget to stage the home for purpose of sale. Create an overall plan for spaces being staged and manage the installation of products/furniture deliveries and final staging touches. Consultations- $1.00/ sq. ft. Floor Plan of Space, Furniture Layout, Product Selections, Design Style and Paint selections Fixed Finishes - $1.25/ sq. ft. Flooring, Wall Coverings, Window Panels, Door Styles, Kitchens, Bathrooms, Cabinetry, Countertops, Plumbing Fixtures & Lighting Selections New Construction- $1.50/sq. ft. Creating a full set of floor plans for purpose of permits/contractors use. New Construction services include consultations and fixed finishes Remodels/Additions- $1.75/sq. ft. Creating a full set of existing floor plans and proposed floor plans for purpose of permits/contractors use. Remodel services include consultations and fixed finishes If the project exceeds the hours designated for sq. ft. of the space we are working on, the client will be billed out at a hourly rate of $65.00/hour, below is a chart showing the sq. ft. of a space and the amount of hours included with that rate.
