- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We believe professional event production should be transparent, flexible, and built around what you actually need. Every event is different, so rather than forcing customers into oversized packages, we customize pricing based on the DJ talent, guest count, venue, event length, and the level of sound, lighting, video, and production required. Because Arcane owns our professional sound, lighting, LED video, DJ, and production equipment, we can provide significantly more under one roof without relying on multiple outside vendors and their additional markups. We also offer package pricing when combining services such as DJ entertainment, sound, lighting, and LED video. Our goal isn't to sell you the most expensive package, it’s to determine what will make the biggest impact for your budget and deliver the best possible event.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process starts with listening. We want to understand your event, your audience, your venue, and most importantly, the experience you want your guests to have. From there, we recommend the right combination of DJ talent, sound, lighting, LED video, and production based on your vision and budget. For larger or more complex events, we can create a 3D visualization of the space using our ProStage software, allowing you to see the production layout before the event and make changes with us in advance. Once the plan is approved, our team handles the technical details, coordination, setup, testing, and execution. On event day, we arrive prepared with professional equipment, experienced DJs and technicians, and contingency plans for the unexpected. Our goal is simple: make the planning process easy for you and make the final event look, sound, and feel even better than you imagined.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve been a professional DJ for 24 years and an event promoter and host for 19 years, giving me extensive hands-on experience in DJ performance, talent booking, event planning, sound, lighting, and live production. In 2024, I personally booked 247 DJs for performances, followed by 258 in 2025, across clubs, festivals, after-hours events, and other live events. That volume of booking has given me extensive firsthand knowledge of DJ talent throughout Minnesota and the Midwest. I understand who excels in specific genres, who can read different crowds, and who is the right fit for a particular event. I also own a complete inventory of professional LED video walls, sound, lighting, and event production equipment capable of supporting events of up to 2,000 guests, and I lead a team of eight highly versatile multi-genre DJs. Much of my training comes from more than two decades of real-world experience performing, producing events, booking and managing talent, and continually developing my knowledge of professional sound, lighting, video, and event production.
