FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are certain expectations that I have for payment, but I also know what it's like to be on a budget, and I actually really enjoy planning events for people on a budget because it spurs creativity. In terms of DJ payment, my services include ceremony and full-day coverage, unless it is geographically close and a reasonable amount of time. I will help with anything...setting up/tear down, orchestration, announcements etc. Naturally, this is a website designed around bidding, to my price can fluctuate slightly based on demand, but I consider myself to be incredibly reasonable and understanding when it comes to expenses.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always start off the relationship with a phone call in order to introduce myself and ease any concerns that client may have. I like to learn about the clients and what they enjoy, as well as what they hope to get out of the experience. I treat this relationship as a partnership and a friendship. If travel permits I also like to meet in person to to put a face to the name and hash out the specifics. I like people and enjoy discovering what their ideal experience looks like. This way I can tailor the experience to perfection.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been DJ and since I was 14, and have a degree in TV film and music production. This allows me to add special things to my client's experience. i've deejayed over 250 events, and acted as a wedding planner for sixty-two events. I understand all aspects of what it takes to piece a wedding day together, which include specific knowledge that can only be attained through veterans experience.
