FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I decided to start my own photo business a few years ago. I had been taking a bunch of general credits, waiting to get into the nursing program. I ended up taking a film photography class because it seemed interesting and it worked with my schedule. I had always loved taking random photos of friends and families. Once I took the class, I fell in love. I knew it was what I wanted to do. I took 3 or 4 more classes, even though it didn't go with my intended major. I have been actively taking photos since then!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a photographer, I highly suggest talking to the photographer and asking all the questions you may have. Make sure you are comfortable with their style and personality. The session will be a lot more fun if you get to know them a little better before the actual session. When you like their style it is also a lot more fun. It all goes so much more smooth when the customer and photographer know what is expected from either party.
