FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do pricing based off the amount of hours needed, the type of shoot and time it will take me to edit thereafter. Pricing is based off the quality of my work, my experience and that I am a small business -- pays for my bills to run this business and to raise my family. I am running a discount until mid-May on my weddings. My packages start at 7 hours. If you need less hours or more than that, please do let me know as the pricing may go up or down based off my starting packages. I have a bundle rate of $100 off on inquires of Maternity and newborn sessions. I will also bundle in quarterly sessions for babies first year as well, but must pay in increments from large to small. My birth rates are $1500. My family lifestyle portrait rates start at $300 and go up if there's more locations, studio fees, hours and/or if it's an extended family portrait session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to make sure we're both on the same wave length before jumping into working with someone. I like to feel inspired by the individual, and for the client to feel inspired by me as well. I like trust. I like connection. Depending on the kind of shoot we do I will usually have your photos to you within a few days to a week; couple months if this is a wedding. If you are looking for digital prints I can happily do that for extra, but that must be noted before going into the shoot and it must be paid in full before starting.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've been a photographer for five years. I have educated myself in many areas of photography since starting. As of right now -- I spend most of my weeks photographing brand content, interiors, wedding/engagement/elopements and family/maternity/newborns.
