Introduction: I take the time to do it right the first time, and I have had the proper training from professional instructors. When you complete flooring projects at places like museums, schools, businesses, and clients with hundreds of homes, you have to be able to get it right the first time. Our standard is perfection! There is something truly satisfying about applying the final coat to a well-completed floor. By the time you put on that last layer of finish, you know how it is going to turn out, and there's an exciting, Christmas-eve kind of feeling of expectation at the joy my client will have when they see their new floor.

Paul was a pleasure to work with. We live in a 101-year-old St. Paul house that had a couple cracked joists that were part of a likely structural deficiency in the house's original design - and likely stayed unfixed because of the complexity involved. Paul patiently and professionally worked with us and plumbers to develop a solid approach, and explained clearly what he was recommending and why. Paul added a new LVL beam alongside the old cracked joists, but to get there, had to address a number of issues. He had to pour new footings for support posts. He worked with a plumbers to reroute our boiler pipe and replace with PEX, and worked around other electrical and gas systems. He was tidy in cutting the necessary hole in our plasterwork, and patched it up and painted it beautifully and quickly - just a few days from beginning to end. We sleep better knowing a key weakness in our house is no more, thanks to Paul's work. Cheers!!

Paul was great to work with before the project as he worked hard to find the correct stain for our floors. He also kept us updated throughout the project. When we walked in and saw the wood floors we thought they were gorgeous. We soon realized as we walked around that a lot of wood filler was used to cover large gaps where the wood floors did not meet up to the other boards. There are spots where stain was missed and the clear coat is missing in spots also. There are pieces what are indenting more than others. We found ourselves walking around and saying well that will be covered up with furniture which after what we paid we did not feel was fair. So I reached out to Paul with feedback and pictures that we were not happy with the end result after looking closer and have received no response from him. So a lot of money later we are not happy with the end result of the floors. I wish I could add pictures here. Lesson learned to walk around and look closer before making the final payment.

I am generally hesitant to hire anyone I do not previously know to come into my home to do work on it. The work to complete a previously started wood floor installation was very well done. The price was extremely well assessed and fair. Doors hung to my laundry room unfortunately were hung blocking access to under washer/dryer storage preventing access now. I should have been more available to review what would take place prior to ensure that this did not happen.
