FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The quotes we provide are created after getting as much information about the job as possible. The final price in the quote will reflect projected cost of materials, labor hours, and any other miscellaneous expenses that may pertain to the specifics of each job.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We first make contact and find out the relevant details about the job. These can include the scope of the project, project constraints, and timeline. We help the customer identify and articulate exactly what they are envisioning. After gaining this insight, we provide a fair quote. If our quote does not match the customers budget, sometimes we can change the scope of the project to align the vision with the financial reality. Once we have agreed upon a price, we set a date and complete the project in the designated timeline.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a B.S. Sustainable Products Management, through which I took many classes pertaining to wood science and engineering. I have over 10 years of experience in the trades that ranges from home construction to longboard manufacturing.
