We booked a one time deep cleaning for a townhome that we are getting ready to sell. The home is currently unoccupied, empty and already had some wiping down however the bathrooms needed a lot of attention. I detailed my project and was given a quoted price. When they came out to preview the home the price went up. I questioned the pricing since I was previously told to book online and the pricing outlined on the website calculated a completely different price than the quote we were being given. Even when selecting a deep clean certain things like wiping down a bathroom vanity (I’m not sure how you clean the bathroom but don’t clean the vanity exterior), or cleaning the front door and screen door of the home were not included. Plus, the home is being rehabbed so there is no carpet or wood floors to clean in the home and no furniture to dust.
When something was missed and we pointed it out and asked for it to be done, additional charges were added on otherwise the work would not be done. We ended up paying $150.00 over the quote!
Overall, we are in a much better place than where we started. The pricing needs work however. Make sure you are clear on the cost for services and what you get for the price. They require your credit card when you book which allows them to charge whatever amount they so choose. At the end of the day we paid $85.00 per hour for two cleaners.
