- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Inspiration to pursue a career in skin care and makeup came at a young age, which began with the gift of a Barbie Makeover Doll that I loved dearly and quickly wore out. I was fascinated by the trans-formative power of makeup application and began practicing at every chance she had. I had a lifelong obsession with makeup, as she would study seasonal makeup trends published in various fashion and beauty print media that started with her first subscription to Seventeen Magazine. She began experimenting with makeup and developing her own skill and technique in applying cosmetics.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I do hair styling and makeup applications. I am licensed to do facials, waxing, chemical peels, and lash extension. I am also certified in skin analysis.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I am able to advise on skin care needs as well as getting the right makeup colors and application for skin type, skin tone, and eye and face shape.
