I paid for everyone's hair and makeup. All my friends were GUSHING over the experience. Every interaction I've had has been beyond stellar. And that's before I get into how talented they were. The looks were fabulous, unique, AND long lasting. I cried and danced hard (so lots of sweating), and my makeup and hair were in place the entire time. Betsey also coached me through some skin maintenance at my trial so by my wedding day, I had markedly better skin. This is just skimming the surface of how much I loved working with Luminous Beauty, but I don't have time for the novel-length compliment I have. Seriously, hire them, and you will not be disappointed.

Betsey has great makeup skills as well as communication skills. She put on a wonderful makeup on me for my bridal shower, she respect customers' needs and preference, always asked me what color shade or eye makeup or what kind of lip gloss I like before putting them on me. She is very professional and also very nice, which made my whole makeup experience just super.

She was AMAZING! I came in for my bridal trial very nervous because I don't wear makeup often. She did each part of my face section by section asking if I like what she was doing or if she should change anything. I showed her a picture of a brides makeup and she was able to copy the look and made it look even better! I loved the end result and got tons of compliments! What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Determining location, time and style of makeup and then accepting a 50% deposit to reserve the date.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a salon managers license, an international esthetician certificate and 10 years of hands on experience. I read every industry periodical and always play with new looks and techniques. I take continuing ed classes when available.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I fell in love with the transformative powers of makeup and an early age and I couldn't stay away from the industry!
