Firstly, I have a passion for math; I truly enjoy algebra and this enjoyment transfers to students I work with. Also, I find that learning any subject has nothing to do with whether it comes more naturally to the student or not, anyone can in fact learn any subject, it's whether how the student applies themselves in learning that subject. So I work with not only the subject material, but how one can change the way they approach the material, and how they can apply practical things in their day to day life that will support in their overall understanding.
I like the one-on-one interaction and seeing how one can go from not at all understanding the material, and the journey and progress to get them to where there is understanding and the ease and confidence you can see in the student during this process. I also very much enjoy Algebra, so being able to work on math problems and explaining to others how they are able to do it, really is enjoyable for me.
