My son began lessons this year with Russell during quarantine. He has learned so much and finds his lessons with Russell to be the highlight of his week. He practices all the time and especially loves the piano improvisations he does with Russell at the beginning of his lessons.

Russ is a fabulous piano teacher. He taught my daughter for a year in person, and now for about a year on zoom during the pandemic. When she was just getting started, he was able to manage her 6-year-old silliness and still teach her the basics. Now, despite being just a face on a screen, he maintains a steady presence, making lessons and practicing a joy for her. She has progressed so much, and now says she wants to be a "piano player" when she grows up. Thanks, Russ!

Zephyros has been learning piano from Russ for almost 3 years. He went from tapping at keys to playing beautiful music that we love to listen to. Russ has encourage Zeph's love of music and has introduced him to new styles and genres, while appreciating the songs that Zeph finds and plays for him. Zoom hasn't made a difference at all. It feels like Russ is right there, in the room. We couldn't have asked for a better teacher. Our son is blossoming into a real musician, and we are grateful to have found Russ.
