Rehte is talented, great w people, and wonderful to work with! Our shoot was calm, magical, creative, spontaneous, quality, skilled and captured amazing moments and aspects of my senior in HS son! He replied quickly to our inquiry. We were lucky he was free and agreed to see us a couple of days before the shoot. We met at a lake near me at sunset that Rehte had never visited. It is 50 minutes away from his house. He charged very little for the drive. He arrived before us to scope it out, prep. We were on a tight schedule, running late, had purchased no new clothes. He had asked us to grab a stool last minute after seeing what was there and we headed out w a clothesbasket of clothes and a basketball. We drove to 3 locations at the lake, 2 docks on opposite sides of the lake, one w a beach, and then to a nearby tall grass and wildflower field. It was my idea to go to the second dock facing the setting sun as I wanted some shots w natural, warm sunlight on skin, tho those aren't ideal conditions for formal portrait photography light. He agreed and made it work! We did 4 fast upper body clothing changes. It was the best professional photography experience I've ever had! He even took some shots when the basketball dropped in the lake from a dock and my son had to jump in and swim to get it once we finished on that dock. We hit the final location he'd scoped out after that w son's wet hair in a little field of tall grass. We paid Rehte about 25-30% extra and he was so worth it. A photographer w natural artistic skill in seeing into his subject, who is great w people, puts his subject at ease, and is great to work with is a dream combo! These should be comment areas on thumbtack! Thank you, Rehte! I hope you do great things w your talent! (These are some of the photos untouched as of yet. We rcvd them right away the next morning.)
