- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Lesson fees are due the week before each lesson to reserve the time and can be applied to the next lesson if 24 hours' cancellation notice is given. No refunds are offered and makeup lessons are available on a limited basis.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin lessons by assessing a student's current skills and discussing their goals. Once I have experienced their current abilities we can discuss what books would be most helpful to challenge them just enough without overwhelming them.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a master's in performance and pedagogy and spent a few years at my university both teaching community music lessons, and working as an adjunct group piano professor. Once I moved to Minnesota, I worked with multiple music lesson companies before deciding to build my own studio.
