- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have discounts available for frequency of service and for hiring multiple services at once and for scheduling with a neighbor. I offer payment options for clients who qualify, so that help can be accessible. My services are charged per unit, so each client receives the same pricing, knows that I will work efficiently, and is assured that the task will be completed properly before issuing payment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet in person, discuss the scope of the project, take appropriate measurements or counts, then offer the price before getting started.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been to school for linguistics, firefighting and graphic design-none of which relate to the task, but throughout all of my educational pursuits I have kept working on my clients’ houses because that is where I started, with on the job training.
