Shake It Up Editing

Introduction: What I do is motivated by a passion rooted in my childhood. Words are the tools of my craft, and I love what I do. I write, edit, and proofread because I want to, not because I have to. I have a day job that pays my bills. I choose to do writing and editing as a side business because I have skills that can help other people, and because I can think of no better way to spend my free time. I only take on one project at a time so that I can devote my attention to each project fully. Each project gets the customized service it deserves, and until it is done, I do not stop. There are two reasons I love writing and editing as a side business: 1. I get to help people complete their written projects to a degree that makes my clients proud to call an essay, report, or resume their own. 2. I LOVE WORDS. I love writing them, reading them, rearranging them, organizing them, and fixing them. I love turning strings of them into meaningful prose that achieves its purpose.
