- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For basic bookkeeping services I charge $25/hour working at home. I will be using Quickbooks 2017 Pro. I will invoice for reimbursement of ink, paper or other basic supplies. I will charge $25 per hour (15 minute increments) if follow up phone calls or emails are necessary to clarify information such as clarify accounts for various checks written. If travel is involved I may ask for mileage reimbursement. I can also provide an estimated cost for the entire project. If I work at your site, I charge $30.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
An initial phone call, email, or a meeting at a mutually agreed to location. During this meeting the outcomes for work are determined and I will offer a tentative proposal on time and cost. I will ask for the scope of the work anticipated. I will also be able to provide references and examples of work to demonstrate I am capable of getting the job done. I live in the community of Woodbury MN since 1988, making it my home for my kids and grandkids.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA In business from the University of St. Thomas (St. Paul MN). I have 40 years of working in all aspects of non profits including bookkeeping, budgeting, management, planning and evaluation. I currently do all the bookkeeping for a small non-profit in St. Paul, MN, using Quickbooks. This includes bank and credit card reconciliation, invoicing and matching up deposits. I also use Quickbooks to track fund raising, send tax letters, send invoices, and to create annual budgets.
