FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I can typically work on a contingency basis, which means there are no legal fees unless I make a recovery for my client.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
After a car accident, I will meet in person with an individual that has been injured for a free consultation. This typically takes 30 to 60 minutes. During this consultation, we will discuss the options the injured individual has for insurance claims, including: collision damage claims, Minnesota No Fault Benefits claims, liability claims, underinsured motorist claims and uninsured motorist claims. I aim to give the individual a better understanding of the complicated interactions between their health insurance and auto insurance claims.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
From a practical standpoint, I have worked in a personal injury law firm since I was 16. I started as a office assistant, was transitioned into a legal clerk / paralegal, and eventually became a lawyer after graduating from St. Thomas School of Law in 2007. Given my background and progression, I understand the claims process from the beginning to end of the claims and representation process. I graduated from St. Olaf College in Northfield, Minnesota in 2004 with a bachelors degree in Economics and a minor in Business Management. I then graduated from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 2007 with my law degree.
