FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing involves a simple Time-and-Materials structure. It is as it implies, I have hourly rates for each specific type of work and for each member of my crew based on experience and difficulty of the specific project. As far as materials go I charge nothing but what the materials cost and $0.60 per mile for any hauling I have to do. Disposal of project debris is something that I generally take care of with the same rules as materials, unless the client wants to work out another plan beforehand.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Typically we do a lot of patios and retaining walls, often times including stairs, outdoor seating, fire pits, and barbecues.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
One of our last projects of the season was to design and create almost 1000 sq. ft. of paver driveway at a small cottage near Lake of the Isles. This project was especially interesting because of proximity to the house we had to use 3 different pitch changes to control run off.
