FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Most of our DJs started in high school or college doing parties for our peers. The DJs in our company do only wedding receptions, not those old tired bar/high school/college gigs anymore. With age comes a broader taste in music, experience to know what to play and when, and the ability to read any crowd with many different ages. The evolution of most DJs if they stay in the business for 10+ years looks like that.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We specialize in Wedding Receptions and Company Parties. With occasional family reunions and other family themed events. In other words, we are specialists in playing music from little kids to senior citizens. You won't get that kind of music range or knowledge from a DJ who does bar gigs.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Talk to several DJ providers and find out if they are a DJ Agency or a DJ Company. A DJ Agency takes your deposit and service agreement and then tries to find someone to cover your reception - even if you pick your DJ - look for their clause that allows substitutions. A DJ Company uses only their own DJs who don't work for any other company.
