Matthew was wonderful! He was so pleasant, kept me up to date, completed the job perfectly and reasonably. I would choose all 5 categories if the sight would allow me. He did a basement wire job as well as installed a breaker box (fuses), and smoke and carbon dioxide alarms as well as new out lets in the basement. Te inspector came out the next day and all looked great. I will use him again in a minute's! Highly, highly recommend. I love working with small business. I will send a picture of his work next time I go over to the house. Don’t hesitate to use him.

We have had Matt come out and take care of a few electrical projects and his ability to identify the issue and resolve it quickly hello is for a more to get done in a short amount of time. I wondered why I put off having certain things taking care of so long once Matt finished up from our first appointment and already scheduled him to come back out again for some other things we had on our list of things to do around our house because his rates were reasonable and everything was taken care of practically in the blink of an eye. He asked the right questions and had a great attitude, was punctual and professional, And I would highly recommend him to anyone needing electrical work done at their home or business.

We highly recommend FTK for any electrical project - big or small.
We needed recessed lighting in our living room and kitchen. with about 6 inches of "attic" space and the ceiling being tongue and groove redwood boards - this job would be very complicated as wires needed to be fished through the walls and ceiling/joists (again, no attic space). We had a few people come look at the project and no one wanted to do because of the amount of work required.
Luckily we found Matt. He thought outside the box and took his time figuring out the best way to get the job done without compromising quality.
Aside from professional and quality of work I most admire that Matt is a straight shooter. Honesty is so important and he let us know what could or couldn't be done.
We now have light in our living room (with the integrity of the ceiling intact) and no longer feel like I'm in a cave. Thanks Matt! 💯

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge the lowest I can, with insurance and permitting and bonding, I have to keep my business out of the red and food on my family’s table.
What I quote is what I charge! There are no hidden fees or surprise charges. I keep my word, even if it costs me.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communicate! Communicate! Communicate!
Really! I show up and we chat. That way I can learn what is most important to them.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Experience is #1.
I have a master’s license, which requires continuing education courses ever second year.
