- How did you get started doing this type of work?
From as far back as I can remember I have always had a love and passion for Art. I took that passion with me when I attended college where I graduated with a BA in Advertising and Graphic Design. It wasn't until I had kids that I fell in love with face painting. I remember the look on my daughter's face the first time she had her face painted and how it was days before I could get her to wash it off.I became a professional face painter after years learning all the techniques, designs, safety measures, and volunteering at a variety of functions. I started by business in 2011, however my artistry began as a child. Today, I continue to learn the hottest designs and newest techniques in the business while providing my clients with a professional experience from the moment I arrive. - What types of customers have you worked with?
Paint Silly Faces does a lot of birthday parties and large events. Depending on your party size, I can create full-face, half-face or cheek designs that your guests will love. Full-face designs could take anywhere from 5 to 10 minutes each, depending on choice. I typically can do about 6-12 kids an hour. For large events, with 50+ kids I offer beautiful cheek designs and half-face art that are typically done in under 3 minutes. No party is too big or too small - I can add color and fun to any event!
