Ryan is a great teacher! He's organized, patient, mellow and easy to follow and understand. As an adult I had so much fun learning and I couldn't wait to learn more!! My 10 year old has been weird since a year of quarantine and it's been hard to get her interested in anything again and Ryan tried sooooo hard to get her engaged, he picked songs he thought she might like or that she requested. He tried to play music games with her to make it fun instead of following the book. He was just so great with her when her lack of trying was driving me nuts!! He also taught me one of the songs I requested which made my day! Ryan is a local hard working dad/familyman and a great guitarlesson teacher and I highly recommend him!!!! Thanks for everything Ryan I look forward to more lessons in the future!!

Ryan is great to work with! Prior to working with Twin Cities School of Guitar I tried self teaching myself to play guitar and I wasn't making any progress. With Ryan I picked up playing quickly. I appreciate not only his teaching skills but his encouragement as well.

Twin Cities School of Guitar is great! I spent too much time practicing guitar in a very basic way and now thanks to Ryan I have now a much better understanding of the theory behing the music and how to applied to the guitar.

I have been taking lessons with Twin Cities for a few months now. I’ve enjoyed the progressions that they use as building blocks. They have not only built my ability to begin to play, but also understand a level of the music theory behind the lesson. The patience that Ryan has shown has kept me from getting down on myself when a lesson is challenging. Highly recommend to anyone just starting out like me!

What style(s) do you want to play? Do you want to be in a band, play live, play by yourself on the front porch, or record?
I offer a free introductory lesson where we can make sure we are a good fit for each other and talk further about your goals and different options for lessons.

I participate in ongoing monthly guitar-teaching education and training. I attend yearly seminars with top music teachers from around the world to ensure that I am on the leading-edge of teaching guitar.
