Well, months ago, we called them and asked them to come out and clean up our yard for the fall to make sure that we didn't have a base of leaves under the snow all winter. We spoke to them on the phone and, since we have a lot of large trees and a difficult yard, we offered to pay more than the over-the-phone quote they gave us. Being self employed I understand time and I know it would be hard to come out and quote every job, so that's why we were OK with giving them more, since we knew the level of difficulty compared to others in our neighborhood. We contacted them a couple of times and weeks went by without word, then we finally got a mass email saying that they would be starting that week. Nothing for a few more weeks, then they showed up at sunset one day and started blowing the leaves out of the blvd and on to the street and driveway leaving two large piles until it was too dark. We figured they would be back the next business day, but they never showed again. It ended up snowing and when I went to shovel, I had to move one of the large piles that was in our driveway. So, not only did they not finish our job, they actually created MORE work for us by having to shovel a large pile of wet, packed down leaves. So, since they didn't tell us that they were not going to finish the job, we still have all the leaves under the snow that's going to be very difficult to clean it up this spring. The real contentious part is that, because of the snow, it's now too late to get someone else. Had they informed us that they didn't want the job from the start, we could have had our yard cleared months ago. How can they improve? Do what they say they're going to do or let their customers know so they can make other plans.
