FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The prices vary depending on your commitment to your lessons, and packages of 4, 8 or 12 lessons may be purchased at a discounted rate. You are encouraged to take regular weekly lessons along with daily practice for the best results. If you are the kind of person who requires a more flexible schedule, I will work with you to find the best possible solution, including payment for one lesson at a time. I require at least 24 hours notice for the cancellation of a lesson.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It you are looking for a trial lesson to see if we are the correct fit, you will need to pay for that lesson, but if you decide to continue with one of the multiple lesson packages, the trial lesson will be included in the initial package payment. With some package purchases the discount will make that first lesson FREE!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts with a double major in Music Performance and Composition. I have had training in classroom teaching through the SCAN after school programs in The Bronx, NY. I also have 2 years of teacher training in a cognitive approach to private music lessons with Sage Music.
