Hello, I’m James. I am a Wedding Photographer and Videographer and new father to a baby boy! I grew up in the wedding business with my family running the Jean Acres Weddings and Event Barn, in Ellsworth Wisconsin. I love being able to capture memories and sharing them for years to come. My wife and I act as a team to bring you the best quality you deserve.
I have the skills, knowledge, and equipment to be at-the-ready for your special day. I execute photography, videography, and in some cases, both! But I’m not limited to weddings by any means.
Ask about weddings, engagement shoots, family portraits, animal portraits, videography, and a beautiful Barn Venue! Of course if you are interested in multiple services we can give you a package deal. My wife also works in graphic design and loves to create beautiful edits for couples as well.

James has photographed for us on two occassions and both times he surpassed our expectations. He is punctual and generous with this time and he takes such creative, artist photos. James captured spontaneous moments for our wedding as well as posed photos. He was early and took beautiful pictures of the landscape (outside wedding). He got photos of us arriving, setting up, socializing, and the ceremony. He was kind and helpful to our guests. He was great editing the images to meet our needs. He also delivered the photos very quickly. His website is easy to navigate and even has option to purchase prints. I am impressed with his work and would work with him again.

Negotiable, with basic packages. Minor travel fees if far, but it’s not much. I drive a hybrid!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet and greet. Email, Phone call, Zoom, and formal in-person visits if preferred. Depending on the time crunch!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Part 107 Commercial sUAS Remote Pilot License and Two Bachelor’s degrees in Psychology and Neuroscience. Paired with over years of editing experience first hand experience. People may say I have an “eye” for it.
