Like you, Im struggling to become better and create a bright and beautiful thread in my little corner of the tapestry of life. I chose the name Tapestry for my own brand of art after realizing, through much trial and error, that the most important things in life cannot be taught or held, they must be honed, and crafted as an artist creating a masterpiece.
As a teacher I realized one day that my life has become an amazing work of art that I was proud of, not because I finally figured out the answer, but because I practiced and practiced and practiced. I realize one day that, after many, many mistakes, I had co-created a marriage that was an ever changing and growing mosaic. As a teacher, I realized that my craft had finally taken shape and that now it was time to take it to a broader audience. teach and talk about the struggle that we all face to become the master crafters of our lives, our loves and our legacy. My education in psychology and counseling, counseling and consulting and 10 years of teaching college psychology and communications courses (along with a whole lot of paint spilling and erasing) have prepared me to share with you what it means to become the painter of your tapestry of life.
My job inspires me grow and challenges me to find new ways to explore what it means to be human.
