- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically the process starts with a Service Agreement which lays out my prices, along with a confidentiality clause that assures you that the fact that we are working together and that anything that is shared during the process will remain 100% confidential. The next step is we set up a one hour phone consultation. During the call, we discuss the types of opportunities that you will be using your resume for. This will ensure that we highlight the most important successes and accomplishments for those types of positions in your resume. Then, I get to work putting together an initial draft of your resume for you. Once completed, I send the initial draft of it for your review. Any and all feedback is welcome and is quickly incorporated. We then work together from that point until you feel that you have a final version of your resume that you are 200% happy with. (As you can see from my reviews, I follow-through on this promise!). I will then share with you both a Word version of your resume (so you can easily edit it anytime down the line); in addition, I will provide you with a PDF version of your resume that is ready to send to potential employers.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Through my role as an attorney working within a large corporation, I have literally interviewed and hired 100's of employees for a variety of roles. This practical experience has been invaluable for staying on top of interviewing trends and key areas of focus for a variety of roles. Knowing what employers are looking for is essential to creating a resume that will resonate with them and help them see how you would be a great fit for their open position. I have also helped employees across the company prepare for the interview process, including providing resume feedback and interview coaching. I also have a psychology degree and am a certified coach, working mostly in the area of career coaching. In addition to coaching employees through my role in a corporate setting, in my own business I provide extensive resume building assistance, in addition to career and personal coaching to clients seeking assistance in a wide variety of areas.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients in a wide variety of industries and roles. From executives in large corporations, entrepreneurs, clients seeking a career change, those looking to re-enter the workforce and newly graduated students, I have had success with each. My own corporate experience has been invaluable, in addition to my coaching and psychology background. I have working knowledge of a wide variety of industries and roles and am easily able to develop a strong rapport with my clients, enabling us to together pull out the most relevant experiences and successes from their career to create a stand-out resume.
