They were unable to complete the original I posted project because of the way our house was constructed, so I asked them to apply the deposit toward a different project I wanted done. However the individual they sent to do the second project (re patching a spot in our ceiling) was unable to complete it because he wasn't skilled enough. So after 4 months, not only did they not complete either of the projects I had them bid on, but I STILL have not received my deposit back.Mar 26, 2017Verified
Nobody returned my calls. I hired a company that met my needs today. Job was done today. I tried to view job quote but, I could not see it. Maybe next time.Dec 21, 2016VerifiedSteve S.'s reply
Mike, we sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. I don't believe we were ever in contact? We did direct a search against requests made in your name. This search included our database, Thumbtack, and phone our phone records. We also looked up Thumbtack requests that we may have not responded to, under lighting requests, and found nothing. We would like to get this resolved, and would appreciate receiving a phone number to have the owner contact you as soon as he can. Thank you. Tami

Alicia, thank you so much for taking the time to review our service! The most important part of your review is the fact that you said you would hire us again. We so appreciate that and we hope to hear from you again.
The wrong fascia board was done first. They then finished the correct job. Clean up could have been better. They left a paint brush on the lawn and there were numerous nails below the work siteNov 13, 2015VerifiedSteve S.'s reply
So sorry that it took us a couple of tries to get it right. We continue to work with our guys on the clean up tasks and hope we are getting better. We appreciate you taking the opportunity to provide a review.

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Once we receive a customer contact we collect some information regarding address, phone, email, and description of project. That information goes into our system, which triggers an alert for our tech to call the potential customer to schedule an inspection of your project. Once the inspection is complete, we provide a detailed, written estimate by email. If our estimate is accepted, we collect a deposit in an amount based on the job total and schedule the work to begin. Upon completion of the project, we would collect the balance due.
- What types of customers have you worked with?We have worked with a wide variety of customers including those who would like to continue to live in their homes following retirement as well as busy people who have a few projects that they would like to get done in a timely manner so they can maintain their busy lifestyle without sacrificing functionality in their homes. We have also worked with folks who appreciate our level of know-how, that the average DIYer may not possess.
