Laurie has not only superior artistic skill, she brings good taste and empathy to intimate situations. She handles each assignment with sensitivity and delivers beyond expectations and on time. In the world of advertising and editorial assignment, there is no room for mistakes or no-shows. Laurie is extremely reliable and spot on. I have known Laurie Schneider for over 10 years, and have seen time and time again the amazing quality of her photography. She captures the moment - whether it is a family portrait or wedding, a farm-to-table event, or nature and the wild. This is, I suppose, the artist side of Laurie Schneider. But Laurie also excels in product and advertising photography. She has a great eye for detail, lighting and composition, which is clearly evident in the work she has done, much of it captured in exhibitions, and much of which has generated awards. I have hired Laurie to add photographic detail and content to a number of websites I have built for my customers - Laurie has always come through with quality work. So I highly recommend Laurie Schneider - such a talented individual - for any photography project on any subject.

Artist, passionate, talented. These are just a few words that come to mind when describing Laurie and her work. My husband and I were initially on the fence about working with a professional photographer for our wedding but we are glad that we did and we are glad that it was Laurie. From the very beginning Laurie spent time getting to know us as a couple so that she could capture our day the way we wanted it. When the big day came Laurie was friendly, professional and fun. Going through our photos we never fail to get a sense of the atmosphere and emotions of the day. And that's exactly what we wanted - not a collection of snapshots of our nearest and dearest, but a record of the day as a whole, something we could look back on and remember how every step of the way felt. I just watched the video Laurie created for about the millionth time and I cry every time (everyone who sees it does). Laurie was not only there to capture all the moments, but she also captured all the emotions that were so important to the day. Her photographs beautifully represent what the day is about. I am so very grateful to her as this day was so important to us and because of her it will be remembered. Oh, and Laurie, if you read this, thank you for making me drink water! P.S. She was so helpful in the getting people where they needed to be and making sure we all looked beautiful!

For weddings, I produce a personalized quote for each couple. It's the fairest method of pricing. For events and editorial work, I provide a written job confirmation with fee.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For weddings we have a conversation, meet-up, sign an agreement, talk again for the shotlist and then the day comes. woot woot! For events or editorial work, I provide a job confirmation with details, we have a conversation about shotlist and outcome.
