I had DRAT come out for a quote. They were quick, communicative, and honest. I didn’t end up using them but I wish I had because when the guy I hired didn’t show up, DRAT was right there to help out. They were willing to come out right away and help finish the project that was started by someone else. Just based on the communication and professionalism alone, I would recommend them for your next project.

Not to be over dramatic, but Gene and Steven of Drat Construction saved our home, and quite possibly our family. Our 35 year old home, in which we have lived for 10 years, had serious structural problems in the attic. Basically the lack of support was threatening to drop the roof on us, and we didn’t know until a swatch of a closet ceiling was punched out during a wind gust. We looked up there, and thought a board or two definitely needed attention soon. Yet, divine intervention, intuition, sixth sense, whatever you want to call it, prompted me to send a request for help through Thumbtack the next morning. Gene called almost immediately. He took the situation seriously and arranged to head right over to our house. From there, his experience and skill took over and he and Steven quickly went to work averting a disaster. They were considerate of our floors and walls as they loaded enough wood up into the attic to properly brace and secure the roof. Gene showed and explained everything to us, drew a diagram, and was very respectful of our time and resources. I feel extremely grateful and lucky that it worked out the way it did and Gene was there for us. He didn’t just quote a job or do a fix, he went the extra mile to ensure our ongoing safety as if we were his own family.
