About

Grooming appointments are done while you wait at the Humane Society of Greater Kansas City on Parallel Pkwy. Most visits take around an hour, and the average cost is $20 to $25. Half of all proceeds go to the shelter. I also pet sit, provide foster care and board cats in my home, and provide nursing care for ill or injured pets to raise money for my rescue work. I am the founder of Paws for the Cause in KC an all volunteer group that works to save and improve the lives of animals here in Kansas City. I am a confirmed crazy cat lady. I've been addicted to rescuing animals all my life, it is my passion, and it fills my heart every day. I am one of those lucky people who love what they do, even after 30 years!

She did a fantastic job of grooming our two cats. Both had matted very long a hair and she shaved them. They look so beautiful now!

Terry did a great job with Toby. It was his first time getting groomed and at 13 he can be a bit grumpy! He was always calm and she was so professional.

Terry was excellent. We were lucky to find her. She did a lion cut on Theodore, our Persian cat. He was terrified to be out of his element but she made him feel safe and comfortable. Much to our surprise he sat through the hair trim. We will definitely be going to Terry every summer. Now Theo can take his cat naps on the screen in porch without overheating. He is a very happy cat.
