Kayla is AMAZING!!! I’ve been seeing Kayla for several sessions now and she is just the best! She is very caring, compassionate, patient and she makes a point to customize her sessions to your needs. She is great at jointly pushing your limits while making sure you were doing the techniques correctly. I haven’t had the opportunity to explore her dancelessons. I was lucky enough to attend what of her dance competitions and it was inspiring! If you were searching for a committed yoga instructor, Kayla is definitely the gem you are looking for, she will not disappoint!!

Kayla was a great instructor for me and my daughter’s father daughter dance. Very responsive on thumbtack. I took a couple of one on one classes with Kayla since my daughter is already a good dancer and a couple of classes with both me and my daughter. Last class was a blast! We couldn’t be happier!

I took private ballroom lessons from Kayla for almost a year and loved it ! She picked up on my learning style, and tailored her instructions for me accordingly. She also pushed me when I needed it! I learned multiple styles of dance, and she even introduced me to some male dance partners to work with. It was a great experience and I miss her now that she’s moved!

Kayla was amazing! We were a tough case as we booked a session with her the week of our wedding, but she gave us exactly what we needed! She was so helpful and communicative, and a dancelesson was like a built-in date night during our wedding week. We would recommend her to anyone!

Kayla was extremely knowledgeable about all kinds of dance styles. She asked me questions and tailored the lesson to my goals. Also, was very patient and easy going. I definitely didn’t make the lesson easy but she kept expanding and challenging me to get the most of out the lesson. She also makes sure you learn the dances and techniques properly. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is based on private lessons. Groups rates and package rates are available. All rates include floor rental fees.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
At 19, I was hired by one of Nashville’s Top Ballroom Dance Studios where I began training with world champions in a various dance styles. I began competing professionally and later became certified in 12 partnership dances, being diverse in 24 styles. I gained of love for business and dance and after several years, relocated to Kansas City where I began to focus on couples preparing for their upcoming weddings.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
For weddings, book As soon as you can! Schedules get busy on both sides, so the sooner you start the more time you and your partner have to create the dance of your dreams!
